Zines are self-published indie periodicals with a long history and a wide reach. This session will discuss the world of zines - their history, their role in marginalized and counterculture communities, their presence in libraries both online and off, and how they can inspire new authors and artists in your community with an endlessly flexible creative outlet. Best of all, participants will get to make one for themselves!
