Sensory blankets provide sensory and tactile stimulation for restless hands of someone with Alzheimer's, Dementia, those on the spectrum and other cognitive disabilities. Sensory blankets have been proven to calm stress, anxiety, prevent adverse behavior and other benefits. Those in attendance will learn how to create a sensory blanket on a shoestring budget along with holding a Dementia 101 Series.
