Adult, teen and children's program staff will begin by identifying their own culture, leading to cultural competence and humility for other cultures. This session will give you the tools to identify and avoid pitfalls, remove barriers for the community, and develop programs that represent, include, and celebrate the diversity of the community you serve. Regardless of your own background and identity, you can overcome the fear of "getting it wrong" and develop confidence with specific steps and best practices to get it right.
