Future thinking is an important skill to help build more resilient communities. A group of Harford County Public Library staff, funded by a grant from the Maryland State Library Agency, created a future thinking training for all library staff. A small group of staff received additional training to create and present future thinking skills to teens and emerging adults. At this preconference, participants will have a chance to experience the training that was done for library staff, and find out more about the programming for the public. They will also leave with the knowledge and resources to create a program of their own.
